How to choose quality textures?

Base of clothes consists of textures so it is very important to get know its characteristics better in purpose to learn to choose quality texture.

Today, on textures market is huge supply of mixture textures ( 45-55% cotton, rest are various artificial textures ) and artificial textures. The main reason for that is lower quantity of natural resources for production of natural textures. Still, from full supply we should try to find if not clothes made from natural textures then at least with smaller percentage of mix with artificial textures. In natural textures pertain cotton, silk, linen, viscose, wool, leather, till in artificial textures pertain all compounds made from chemical and industrial manufacturing such as various synthetics fibers, polyester, poliamid, gum, shiny textures and other artificial mixtures.

Why is it important to educate or learn more about materials from which our clothes are produced, and we buy/receive and wear? Because of three reasons: healthful, hygienic and esthetic. Healthful, because our skin has to breath and get enough oxygen for normal function, not to sweat too much when also get out bad smell till to have some allergies, skin problems and diseases. Second reason is hygienic means on which way you take care of textures as also hygiene of your body. And the third reason is esthetic, how materials react on atmospherics and on our bodies after some time period.

How to make difference between natural and artificial textures? Through their characteristics. Even though, today manufacturing is becoming more and more technologically accomplished in that manner that even texture experts can’t recognize difference between them, still below the hand you can feel the difference. I had that luck that this knowledge about textures that I have today, I got from childhood, and I grow up and develop with it. Because of that, I gladly share it with you.:) Natural textures are soft, pleasant and don’t scratch below the hand. Body can breath under them, you don’t sweat much, there are no unpleasant smells and all because body normally function. You can’t feel any scratch or unpleasant feeling on your skin and there are no skin diseases. I recommend, especially for underwear and socks ( items that go directly on our skin ) to be made of mixtures with minimum 55-60% of cotton or from pure natural textures.  Artificial textures, in comparison with natural, are rough, scratch or make disruption of pleasant feeling below hand and often are shiny and very elastic. It’s very warm under them, we sweat a lot and smell badly. Itching, redness and allergy are most of the time their faithful followers as also possibility of developing skin diseases. They should use rarely, not directly on skin and in mixture with natural textures in percentage not bigger than 45%.

All of this above serve us to better recognize quality item made from quality material, through his persistence, unchangeability in length and width with period of time till fashion designer’s precise construction and skilled hands that sewing it, stitch, seam, thread route, etc. That theme know much better my colleagues, fashion designers.:)

For who and why are styling services necessary?

The answer is for everyone. Why – because each of us, doesn’t matter if we have a talent for clothing and estethics and have a good taste, work in some of fashion professions or we don’t have a talent and we are insecure when we talk about styling, from time to time need to involve someone outside of our life to push us harder to exit from monotony or change we delay for a while. The most recent we try to find answer on our frustrations in fashion magazines and in friends, who work in fashion industry, advice but what we really need is just simply ask ourselves: how are we going to spend our time today, which activites will we do and which activities do we need, and on that way we will actually become aware of type of personality that we have. And from here, we will looking for clothes that match our personalities not only our bodies, with all respect to my colleagues from fashion world.

Group of people that have a talent for fashion and talent from birth for good taste and than naturally are involved in some of fashion jobs are the hardest to let someone else to be involved in their clothes and wardrobe. The main reasons are their rejected attitude and high vanity that he/she posses that they are born for styling, and all is finished here. None know more than them in this field! BUT, as I belong to this group either, I can say that we need help either as anyone else. By all, we are all just human beings!:)

When in previous five years, I changed my style twice what’s totally normal as our personality developing, I wished my own Styling Consultant a couple of times. It came to my mind ‘ Ah, it will be great to have now Consultant … ‘ as I needed to do a few shoppings, wardrobe makeover, cleaning my shoe space and jewelry and it would be much easier and better to have someone as right hand, and to be professionlist with fresh ideas.

Kome su i zasto potrebne styling usluge?

Odgovor je svakome, a zasto – zato sto svakome od nas, bilo da imamo talenat za odevanje i estetiku odnosno dobar ukus i bavimo se nekom od profesija u modnoj industriji ili pak talenat nemamo i prilicno smo nesigurni kada je odeca u pitanju, s vremena na vreme je potrebno da ukljucimo nekoga spolja da nas pogura ka izlazu iz monotonije tj. zacaranog kruga ili ka promeni koju nikako da ucinimo. Najcesce se prvo hvatamo za modne magazine, ne bi li pokupili neki trend, i za prijateljice i poznanike iz modne industrije a ono sto ustvari treba da uradimo jeste da sebi postavimo jedno jednostavno pitanje: kako smo danas proveli dan, kojim aktivnostima je bio ispunjen i koje aktivnosti trebamo, i tako zapravo osvestimo kakva je nasa licnost. Prema njoj treba da trazimo garderobu, uz duzno postovanje mojim kolegama iz mode.

Grupi ljudi koja ima talenat za modu i urodjen dobar ukus pa s tim se prirodno i bave nekim poslom u modnoj industriji jeste najteze kada je u pitanju prepustanje drugome da se mesa u njihov orman. Tu je odmah odbramben stav i sujeta da je on/ona rodjen-a za to i tu se sve zavrsava. Medjutim, kako i sama pripadam ovoj grupi ljudi mogu da kazem da je i nama i te kako potrebna pomoc kao i svima ostalima. Ipak smo svi mi samo ljudi.:)

Kada sam u poslednjih pet godina, dva puta menjala svoj stil odevanja sto je sa razvojem nase licnosti sasvim prirodno, pozelela sam sopstvenog Styling Consultant-a nekoliko puta. Pomislila sam ” Ah, tako bi mi dobro dosao .. ! ” jer je trebalo ici u nekoliko shopping-a, sredjivati orman, cipelarnik i nakit, a lakse je i lepse kada imas desnu ruku, i to profesionalnu, sa uvek svezim idejama.
